What are the different type of subscriptions? What is the difference between them?
There are 3 different types of subscription. They primarily differ in terms of the number of years of content that you will get access to.
  • Current Year: Online access to content published by the journal in the current year and 4 preceding years. 5 years of content in total.
  • Archives: Online access to content published by the journal in the 10 most recent years, wherever available.
  • Deep Archives: Online access to all past content published by the journal, as available on IndianJournals.com. Does not include content published in the current year.
IndianJournals.com offers multiple purchase options to fit the needs of institutions and individual researchers.

  • Individual Journals (Online and Print + Online)
  • Subject Collections (Online only)
IndianJournals.com offers 2 modes of content delivery to subscribers:
  • Online: Subscribers of a journal will get access to all content published in the current year and the 4 preceding years.
  • Print + Online: Subscrbers of a journal will receive the print copies of all the issues published in the current calendar year. Additionally, they will also get complementary online access to all content published in the current year and 4 preceding years.

The duration of your subscription will depend on the mode of content delivery that you choose and when you subscribe
  • Online: You can subscribe at any time in the year, and will recieved access to the selected content for a period of 1 year from the date of your subscription. For example, if you subscribe on April 1st, your subscription will last until March 31st of the following year.
  • Print + Online: You can subscribe at any time in the year, but will only receive the print copies for that calendar year. Your online access will also expire at the end of the year. For example, if you subscribe on January 1st, you will receive all the print issues of the selected journals published in that year. However, if you subscribe in June, you may not receive all the issues depending on the frequency of publication of the journals you have selected.

Collections are a bundle of peer-reviewed journals covering a specific subject area. This makes them particularly useful for academic and research institutions. These collections are eligible for price discounts and are availble only Online

What does the current year subscription include?

The content included in your current year subscription will depend on the medium of delivery.

Online: Includes access to content published in the current year plus content from the 4 preceding years for the selected journals. It covers 5 years worth of content in total.

Print + Online: Includes access to print copies for content only published in the current year doe the selected journals. Online access is as mentioned above.

When accessing IndianJournals.com from a registered IP address, the name of your institution will appear at the top right of the home page. In such a case, you will automatically have access to all the content subscribed to by your institution without logging in.

You may be unable to download an article for the following reasons:

  • You are not subscribed to the content that you are trying to download.
  • Your subscription does not include the content from that particular year.
  • You are trying to access the the content from an unregistered IP address

Yes, you can!

Remote Access is a feature on IndianJournals.com that enables users to access the full text of their subscribed journals via network outside of their affiliated institution. Users can pair their device to their institutional network and access their content for 30 days.

To enable "Remote Access" on your device, please follow the given steps:

  • Open IndianJournals.com on your device from subscribed (institution or campus) network.
  • Click the Remote Access option on the home page.
  • Click Enable Pairing On My Device Button on IndianJournals.com home page. The Declaration screen will appear.
  • Click on I Agree button
  • Once the cookie/key is saved on your device, you will see a message “Remote Access has enabled”.
  • Now you can access subscribed content remotely.

Note: Remote access will be active for 30 days. After that, deviced must be paired again.

There are 2 methods to access the content on IndianJournals.com:

  • Indvidual User
    • Register and create your unique Login ID and Password
    • It is specific to each user, and does not allow for multiple simultaneous users
  • Institutional User
    • Access IndianJournals.com via the registered IP address of your affiliated institution
    • Allows for multiple simultaneous users and automatically provides access to all content subscribed to by your institution.
What is the cost of a subscription?

The cost of a subscription will vary depending on the selection of journals and the mode of delivery/media type (Online vs Print + Online). You can also purchase individual articles of interest.

You can make a payment through any of the following methods:

  • Via Credit Card, Net Banking or UPI on IndianJournals.com
  • Via Cheque/Demand Draft in favor of "Diva Enterpises" or "IndianJournals.com" - payble at New Delhi, India
I have not received the print copies of the journals I have subscribed to. What should I do?

If you have not received the expected print copies, please take the following steps:

  • Visit the home page of the journal to verify if the required issue of the journal has been published yet.
  • If the issue has been published, write an email to the claims@indianjournals.com to confirm the status of your delivery.

All orders are accepted and processed by IndianJournals.com.

However, the fulfillment may be done either by IndianJournals.com or by the publisher/academic society directly. If you receive an issue directly from the publisher/society, be assured that this is part of the regular fulfillment process.

In case you do not receive any expected issue or receive a damaged one, please reach out to us at claims@indiajournals.com directly.

How can I sample the content available on IndianJournals.com before I make a purchase?

There are 2 easy ways to do this:

  • Individuals: You can view the sample issues available for each journal. To do so, visit the home page of the specific journal
  • Individuals: You can set up a trial access on your institutional network for a period of 30 days. To do so, reach out to us at subscription@indianjournals.com
How can I track new issues uploaded to IndianJournals.com?
You can subscribe to our TOC Alerts or Notifications service to receive updates about newly published issues of journals you want to track. To do so, please visit the home page of the specific journal.

Registered users can sign up for email alerts and newsletters. They can also avail the author services available on IndianJournals.com, such as Article Submission and Plagiarism Checking

Registering on IndianJournals.com does not require you to make a purchase. However, if you wish to subscribe to any content, you will be required to sign up.

The registrations process is stragithforward. Click on the profile icon on the top right, and provide the necessary information when prompted. You will then be shared a confirmation mail on your registered email ID. Follow the steps provided to verify your email address and activate your IndianJournals.com account. You will then be able to access the additional features.
